Do you remember that kind of amazing Fall Out Boy Sugar Cookie we made a little while back? Well Brittanie is hooked on making more...and more...and oh yes, even more. Our latest round?

 Say Hello to the Plain White T's and The Wind + The Wave!

Patty and Dwight are my new favorite people. Incredible musicians, fantastic songs, and two of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. 

After seeing the Cookie from us they totally knocked our socks off. Dwight came to talk to my husband and I before they performed, they both did a shoutout for Snickety Snacks during their stage time, and I can't count the hugs I got from Patty while they autographed their album for us.

One of the coolest things about these two? They signed the Cookie!

(With an edible ink marker of course.)

Fingers crossed for a 2014 Tour!

Now who hasn't had a Plain White T's song stuck in their head at one point? 'Hey There Delilah', '1,2,3,4', or my personal favorite 'Hate' are just a few of the favorites, but I've got to say, 

their Wonders of The Younger album is definitely my favorite. The circus-type vibe to some of the songs on there are right up my alley(Check our Cirque Dans La Rue), and the album art is gorgeous!

 Cliff Cramp is the creative genius behind the artwork, and we could resist getting the cover on a big ol' Sugar Cookie! Wendy's painting technique really brought this to life, no way we could have made it happen without her shading talents!

 We see this becoming a regular occurrence for us, creating these Concert Cookies, and we're excited to show you the tasty results! Follow us on Instagram @snicketysnacks and to see these babies specifically, be on the lookout for #concertcookie !

Before we even had our recent Wild Thing set completed we were searching through Nikki's illustrated sets on Etsy again for our next fun project. It didn't take long to find one we couldn't resist!

Any chance you remember our Zombie Love project from a little while back? Or our experience with a Yellow Submarine? Well we've done something similar, and as expected, we're loving the Wild results.

Wendy found an incredible artist on Pinterest(we love them!), and her name is Nikki. This brilliant woman is our new best friend and a very happy source of inspiration for us. Sometimes things just work out beautifully.

 These adorable illustrations are from Nikki's 'Dressed Like A Wild Thing' bundle on Etsy, and you should seriously jump over there and snag it now. She's also brilliant in that she gives an instant download once you pay for a bundle-no waiting around for the shop owner to get back to you with your goodies!

Nikki's detail on these really makes them stand out, even down to the tiny little dotting on every character. If you think these babies are cute, you should definitely sneak a peak at her Etsy shop. We've gone through all of her pages and can't wait to get more of her sweet images on our Sugar Cookies!

Here's a quick little story about a girl's love for a certain band, and the crazy adventure
she convinced her Mom to help with...

Brittanie kind of loves Fall Out Boy. With a passion. Her amazing husband surprised her with tickets to see them in May in DC, and in anticipation of said event, Brittanie decided to go a bit crazy with Sugar Cookies.
One specific Cookie actually. This one. 

This baby is roughly 11" by 16" and is kind of incredible to us, and totally edible for them. It was inspired
by Fall Out Boy's poster for the Save Rock and Roll arena tour later this year.

It was accompanied by a second gigantic cookie with the band's logo on it, and given to the club to avoid it going to waste. Miraculously it was passed on to the band's tour manager, who then handed it off to the band and crew.
I think they liked it. A lot. 

Joe, one of FOB's guitarists, Instagram'ed this and had Brittanie jumping up and down like a lunatic in the middle of Target hours before the performance. And it only got better minutes before the concert started.

 Hello Pete! Cue to Brittanie jumping up and down yet again. 19+ thousand 'Likes' on Instagram and a whole bunch of fantastic comments later and we are still thrilled with the response from friends and strangers. 

I'm seeing more gigantic concert cookies in our near future. Most definitely.

First thought? 'Those would look awesome on cookies!' They're the perfect level of zombie love. I clicked through the link and was thrilled to see that they were a free printable for anyone to have. Wahoo! Now while I'm planning to print them out already for this year's Valentine's Day, I had to run with my original thought, and Hannah(the talent behind these fantastic creations!) was kind enough to let me share the photos with you!

With holidays running nonstop and tons of great parties in the last few months, hitting January was a welcome break in the routine! Funny though, after a day or two of not decorating cookies for orders, I tend to get a bit stir crazy and start looking for a fun project. This is where the brilliant Hanasaurusrex comes in!

I originally found her artwork through Pinterest, from a completely different image, but after clicking through to the website, I fell in love with the artistic style, especially after seeing these babies...

Beatles Finger Puppets!

Who wouldn't fall in love with these! I consider it a beautiful version of the Yellow Submarine album art, and I couldn't resist putting them on Sugar Cookies!

I'm a bit in love with this set, I have to say it. Side projects like these are the creative fuel I need sometimes and I'm so grateful to Hannah for letting me post pictures of the final product.

Speaking of pictures, Abram from A.E. Landes Photography went all out with the styling of these cookies, and I just have to share as many as I can. He did a fantastic job in catching the playfulness of the Beatles men!

How perfect is it that as this post is being put together it's snowing outside! We expanded on a cute cookie from last year(does that vintage truck look familiar?), adding in words of encouragement-Let It Snow!, along with some snowflake touches for some glitz! The wonderful Abram from A.E. Landes Photography took this set and ran with it, and we're blown away by the warm and beautiful results!

A few weeks ago the two of us attended the first ever CookieCon in Utah and it was a blast! In a nutshell it was a 3 day event with 200 other 'Cookiers' (Sugar Cookie Decorators), and a few fantastic instructors who taught a bunch of different techniques. Part of the fun event was a Sugar Show-4 different set categories, and each attendee had the option to bring entries, 1 for each. We jumped on the opportunity and here are the fun results....
